High-performance connectivity is the foundation of every great business. It is the platform for all operations, communication and collaboration. ADSL will meet the most critical needs of any business. Our reliable network and quality of service make this an extremely attractive package. From basic Internet Access at your home to more stringent requirements at your office, ADSL has been around for a long time and has evolved as time passed. The acronym refers to an Asynchronous Digital Subscriber Line which means that this digital link sends and receives data at different speeds. Upload speed on a normal ADSL line maxes out at 1Mbps vs the download speeds of up to 20Mbps, depending on the bandwidth chosen. ADSL is known as a Best Effort service and may be impacted by copper theft, so if you are looking to run Business Critical services via the Internet then ADSL might not necessarily be the best option.
VDSL (the new upgrade to ADSL) stands for Very-high-bit-rate Digital Subscriber Line which refers to the speeds now achievable across the same copper wires. The main difference between ADSL and VDSL is speed; with up to 3Mbps upload on VDSL. This increase in download speed allows one to watch Full HD streaming movies online and do business at a much faster pace. VDSL, however, remains a Best Effort service and may be impacted by copper theft, so if you are looking to run Business Critical services via the Internet, then VDSL might not necessarily be the best option. VDSL, however, is not available countrywide as yet.
